Liked it more than Debian because of the community and thorough documentation, along with a well thought-out package and ports system. Still, it doesn't seem to fit as a desktop.

Have tinkered with FBSD for very limited periods throughout the mid 2000s. Definitely the most desktop friendly of the BSD family.
