1984–1997
My first PC came with MS-DOS 2.0
1984–1995
1984–1990
1985–1988
Boring, and steady. Don't really have much to say. It was clearly designed for small office use and accountants. There was enough there to get Lotus 123 to run.

1986–1998

1986–2000
We'll just count Windows 2000 at the last time I used DOS specifically. Too complicated to figure out DOS vs. Windows 9x.
1986–
Does a command line window in Windows still count?
1986–1992
1987–2006
I think I first started on a girlfriend's dad's desktop getting an ancient computer game called 'Bushido' to play. Last time I touched MS-Dos was probably around December of 2006.
1987–1994
A good place to learn about being careful when writing assembly!
1987–
1987–
1988–1995
1988–1995
1988–1996
DOS was my first operating system. I learned to program hacking around in gorillas.bas and .bat files.
1988–1995
1988–
1988–1994
For games, of course.
1988–

I have early memories of playing Ultima 4 in DOS off a 5 1/4 inch floppy on my old IBM pc with a monochome screen.
1988–1993
1988–1995
At first, on its own, then along-side Windows 3.1
1988–1991
My first OS
1988–1999
1989–1991
Fond memories of playing Ultima VI from half a dozen 3.5 inch floppies and messing around with automation using batch files.
1989–1994
My first PC came with MS-DOS. I broke a lot of shit through that operating system (as context, I was born in 1983, so I was extra naive to say... deltree).
1989–1994
1989–1998
Managed to shoe-horn it onto an Acorn Archimedes via the PC-Emulator that came with it. My first ever "hack"
1989–
My first command was format a:, ruining a game just bought 5min ago.
1989–1998
1990–
Never owned my own MS-DOS-only PC, but used friends' systems a lot as a child. These days it's limited to a ~quarterly foray into some WinXP system's command prompt...

1991–
I am reluctant to put in an End Year because it makes me feel sad.
1991–2000
1991–1995
1991–1996
1991–1996
Yes, I started using DOS when I was three years old :) Ofcourse I wasn't able to enter commands, but my brother showed me how to start the games I could use at that time.
1991–1996

1991–1999

Some computers at school had only MS-DOS, back then

1993–1998
This was the OS I learned to use when I was a kid.

1995–1998
This was my first computer, I used MS-DOS and it's basic commands to browse through folders and play some games.
1995–1998
Lots of games only ran on MS-DOS on our Windows 3.11 machine, e.g. Descent II, Flight Unlimited, Mad Dog McCree.
1995–
3.3 onwards
1995–2005
Only whenever Windows decided not to work. I learned some of the basic commands at around the same time I started learning to read.

I think it was 1995. I was just a kid!
1997–
1997–1998
1997–2001
1998–2006
I learned the first MS-DOS commands in a very young age, back when I needed to boot in MS-DOS instead of Windows, to play same specific games. I continued to use MS-DOS commands and the environment when necessary, until Windows was not present at all in my machines.
1998–
2000–2008
2001–2003
Don't remember the year, but it was DOS 2.11 I believe and then quickly upgraded to 5.0 a year or so later.
