Color Basic

Color BASIC is the implementation of Microsoft BASIC that is included in the ROM of the Tandy/Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computers ("CoCos") manufactured between 1980 and 1991.

TRS-80 CoCo (the original 16K silver) one is the first computer my family owned. A don't remember a huge amount about programming on it but I do remember playing text adventures and wishing I could write my own.
1982–1985
Don't remember exact dates, going with JTauber's window. Wrote some serious IF-GOTO spaghetti trying to get a text-based adventure game to work.
1982–1987
1986–1990
I don't remember precisely when I used this, and I can't say I really understood what I was doing, but I typed in a couple of games from the magazines, and got them to run.
