1997–1998
my first venture into programming. not much more than hello world with funky text colours, but then again i was only 10
1997–1998
i really enjoyed using this, made the turtle draw a number of vehicles on the screen; probably the 1st time i ever thought like a programmer
2003–2004
A level, used this as an introductory language to programming. makes sense given its a teaching language, but with easy to use languages like c# and java around its usefulness is very limited.
2004–2008
04-05 for a level, creating a simple database app. 08 for 1st year IT course, creating a table tennis scorer. c# is much better.
2005
...didn't like it... used vb instead...
2007–
i quite liked using this; easy to understand, lots of resources available to help you, never really gone into gui's with it though
2009–
learnt this last year working with linux console, also tutored it a bit this year. can't say i really see the point of it, but then again i didn't go that far into it...
2009–
technically i have not actually used this; i have however, tutored it and wrote stuff in it for hackday which ended up not getting used.
2009–
used when doing linux console stuff last year. due to competition with another (inferior) student for this and c++ ended up gaining quite a bit of understanding and ability in it.
2009–
awesome language. difficult, yes, but still great fun. i still maintain my c++ programs were better than that of that other person.
2009–
by far my favourite of all languages; i'm fairly sure this is a common view. easy to use, easy to understand, great fun to program in and can create really good looking programs with ease.
2010–
a bit strange but was able to use it effectively enough.
