1977–1982
Used CBasic with the Commodore PET, then with the Vic-20 and Commodore 64.
1977–1985
Although not listed my first language was DR Basic on a Heathkit CP/M machine. I later got a Z80 card for my ][e so I could continue to use it.
1980–1985
Started with this processor with the Vic-20. Continued with it on the Apple ][e. Great processor.
1980–
Sadly still working with Pascal as Delphi. Have the original Apple Pascal book on my bookshelf.
1983–1985
My first computer that I bought myself. $2,000 that I earned programming CPM machines.
1983–
Still have the original Turbo Pascal 3.0 book on my bookshelf.
1985–1986
Early adopter, met James Gosling when he released it and threw it out about as quickly. Not intellectually interesting at all.
1991–
Still work with it occasionally.
1995–
Picked it up to write a UUCP application to provide my company with email. I still love C a lot.
1995–2005
A great language but also chaotic at times. Very proud of my Bjarne Stroustrup signed copy of The Design and Evolution of C++. Highly recommended book.
2001–
Early adopter and still program with it every day. It's a well done language, not surprisingly coming from Anders Hejlsberg.
2005–
I love the beauty of Ruby
2006–
My language of choice currently
