1984–1988
Learned some in computer summer camp and elementary school.
1996–
Learned C from a course in college but have done very little professionally with it.
1998–2001
Perl & CGI. Yeehaw!
1998–
Did quite a bit in C++ in both college courses and some small work-related tasks.
2001–
Wrote some very bad Javascript in the early web dev days. I feel much more comfortable with the language as a whole these days, and love that there are frameworks to hide the ugly parts.
2001–
Lots of web development in PHP before I switched to Python.
2002–
Took a beginning Python class at my local community college, along with some friends from the local Linux User Group. It was my toy language for awhile. Then when Django hit 0.95 I started using it full-time, moving away from PHP.
2003
Wrong a few programs out of interest in Mono.
2008
Wrote an Actionscript/Flex charting app that spoke to an XML backend. It seemed more painful than it needed to be and documentation was horrible.
2009–
Learned me some Obj-C for an iPhone app project.
2010–
Just started playing with this a little here and there.
