2004–
First language they teach you in high-school. Thanks to .NET, it's still kind of handy to keep around I guess.
2007–
Learnt basic OOP concepts in Java (using the BlueJ IDE/teaching environment) and it still feels like a hamstrung language to me.
2008–
I love pointers. There, I said it.
2008
Demon hellspawn language. Might have something to do with not being a math person or not being given matrix problems to code using it.
2008–
Dabbled in over summer, continue to build on my knowledge/write the odd script.
2009–
Used it to write my very first (and ultimately awful/short) paper. Once you're used to it, it's kind of nice!
2009–
First encountered it when on exchange in Sweden. There's a quote somewhere about going from C++ to C making as much sense as deciding you're gay and forcing your wife to change sexes. I agree.
2009–
Used for databases and GUI courses in uni. Still prefer C++.
2010–
Used it for web development. A bit meh.
