I was primarily a Windows user until I got my Mac in 2008. I still use a PC at work primarily.

Windows 3.1

1995–1998

We bought our first modern PC just before Windows 95 came out. So we had Windows 3.11 until I upgraded us to Windows 98.

MS-DOS

1995–1998

Lots of games only ran on MS-DOS on our Windows 3.11 machine, e.g. Descent II, Flight Unlimited, Mad Dog McCree.

Windows 98

1998–2002

Delicious operating system.

Linux

2000–2003

Played around with Mandrake Linux off and on.

Windows Me

2000–2002

On our family computer. SUCKED.

Windows XP

2002–

First introduced on my Dell laptop and have been using it ever since on PCs that I work on, both my desktop at home and at work. Never have had Vista+ installed on any of my machines. XP is a great operating system.

Mac OS X

2008–

Primary operating system at home.

Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard)

2008–

Great OS on my MBP. Exposé FTW.
