Ahh ... AIX, my most hated Unix. First database management job.
1991–1992
Had an RS/6000 on my desk at first blue-chip corporate gig. Loved the attempt to get sys. admin under control with XML and SMIT. To this day, I have never experience the same feeling of awe over run-time performance. Otherwise..meh..Linux for-the-win.
1992–1997
College UNIX environment where I learned C, Perl and HTML.
1995–1998
Well, I was already working with HP's Unix and UNICOS so why not throw in another bizarro one :-)
1996–2000
While at IBM I was forced to use this horrible distribution. Yuck!
1997–1999
2000
SMIT is not a replacement for a Unix Systems Administrator, people.
2001–2006
Used while working at IBM as part of the System p/pSeries/RS6000 UNIX server development team.
