1987–1989
First use of email while working on my degree at uni
1988–1991
Came with the Mac Plus for which I took my first bank loan for. The Mac Plus kept running until about 1998, but there was corrosion on the monitor connector so you sometimes had to reseat it, which you could do by grabbing the Mac and squeezing it. Everyone joked about the touchy-feely Mac needing a hug.
1989
Used it briefly when the Presentation Manager was first introduced but even with the better OS foundation couldn't pry me from my Mac
1991–1992
Ahh ... AIX, my most hated Unix. First database management job.
1994
Bought it on floppies because internet connection sucked.
1996–1998
Didn't use it a lot or often but it was amazing how fast it was considering the hardware
1997–1998
Played with PR1. Lots to like but hated the thought of working in C++ and fell in love with NeXTSTEP and WebObjects.
2000–
Lived full time on Rhapsody (Mac OS X Server 1.0) prior to this and then Public Beta before the Mac OS X 10.0 release. Loved it even in its suboptimal early releases.
2007–
My preferred server OS
