1994–2010
Having used different products of Microsoft OS I am still using it but just for some windows only applications. I dislike it generally for a bunch of reasons. Trying to use it as little as possible.
1994–1998
My first computer also had a 3.1 OS, which started by typing win in the command line of DOS.
1995–1998
This was my first computer, I used MS-DOS and it's basic commands to browse through folders and play some games.
1998–2003
A serious improvement of course compared with my first experience with windows (3.1) and the SE was quite a good OS for it's time, compared also to general Microsoft's standards.
2003–2005
One of the good experiences with Microsoft's products. Probably on of the most stable operating systems Microsoft has produced till now.
2003
One of my most horrible memories. Wanted to try it out but had to keep one finger constantly on the reset button.
2003–2010
Still using this classic OS here and then, although it's really old now, for some Windows-only applications I need.
2003–2010
Started using this OS back in 2003 with Mandrake (now Mandriva) distro. I still use this OS but have changed many distros and my favourite is Gentoo which I am still using.
2006–2007
Tried this OS out for a month and formatted. Didn't like the Gnome and switched to Kubuntu on my laptop for some months. I kept it for some time though it didn't seem so stable as Ubuntu, whereas other distros with KDE were more stable.
2006–2008
Crappy product from Microsoft. It was pre-installed on my laptop and so I used it for a couple of years. This OS was one step forward from XP and two backwards, never again.
2009–2010
Using it on a garage server. Actually installed it for trying it out. I am not such a fan but it's not bad as almost no linux distro.
2009–2010
Not any dramatic styling changes, visual effects are a improved but there is a serious improvement in stability issues. Not such a big step if you compare it with XP which is a 2001 product.
